The 16-day-long Annapurna Base Camp trek itinerary commences with your arrival in Kathmandu. Then you will drive to Pokhara and the real trek through adventurous trail will begin on the fourth day of the journey. You will trek through the narrow rocky trails of Birethanti, Tikhedhunga, Ghorepani, Tadapani, and Chhomrong, to Machhapuchhre Base Camp and then Annapurna Base Camp. Afterwards, you will descend to Bamboo, Jhinu Danda, and Nayapul. And finally, drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara.
The best time for Annapurna Base Camp trek is the months of March, April, May, September, October, and November. The months of June, July, and August fall under the rainy season, so it is better not to schedule your vacation for a trek at that time.
The 16-day-long exciting and adventurous ABC trek begins with your arrival in Kathmandu. On this very first day of the journey, all the adventure lovers who are willing to begin ABC trekking are supposed to arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Our representative from Diverse Adventure will pick you up from the airport and will take you to the hotel, where you can take a rest and get ready for the next day.
The second day of trekking is all about meet-ups and introducing to each other who are willing to travel together for the rest of this journey. There will be no specific schedule for this day, which means the second day totally depends upon you. You can enjoy your second day of trek on your own with the trek partners.

So the journey in deed begins on this day. You will travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara (822m) by a tourist bus arranged by our company for the package. Depending on the traffic situation, the journey will take 6 to 8 hours in total. During the drive, you can enjoy the greenery you will pass through, the flow of the Trishuli River, Malekhu Bazar, and the mountain ranges. The bus will drop you at the hotel. You can now check in to the hotel, and take a rest/shower to freshen up. You can observe the evening beauty of Pokhara now by visiting the lakeside where the streets are full of lights and evening markets.

On the fourth day, our bus will take you to Birethanti (a small village located at 1,100m). What you need to keep in mind is that you will not end the day here. After reaching Birethanti, you will begin to walk up to Tikhedhunga (1,520m). It is a small village situated on the way to Ghorepani. As it is the last destination for the day, you will stay here overnight.

The fifth day is all about trekking. On this day, you will trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2,874m), which is around 12.9 km long trek and includes steep stairs. After trekking for 6 to 7 hours, you will reach Ghorepani, a major destination for tourists willing to trek to Poon Hill and ABC.

You will trek for around 5 to 6 hours to reach Tadapani from Ghorepani, covering a distance of 6 miles. Trek to Tadapani includes a gentle climb through mystical lush green forests of rhododendron, oak, and pine trees, which means you will get to experience the stunning landscapes and rich flora and fauna of the Annapurna trail.

The distance from Tadapani to Chhomrong is 7.6 km (approx. 4.7 miles). While walking through Chuile, Kimrong Khola, Ghurjung, and Taulung villages, you will get to explore the natural and cultural beauty. Leaving Chhomrong early in the morning, you will continue walking, following the trail down to Chhomrong Khola on steep stones and through the rhododendron, oak, and bamboo forests. No doubt, going through the trail, you will be stunned by the most wonderful view of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna snowcaps throughout the day. The final destination for the day is the Himalaya Hotel, so you will stay overnight here.

Wake up with the serene picturesque view of sunrise from the mountains and just continue the trek. Today you will walk for quite a long as our destination is Machhapuchhre Base Camp. You will walk through the narrow gorge along the Modi Khola Glacier Valley, observing a panoramic view of mountains, lush forests, and Hinku Cave. All these will make you feel that they are worthy of the trek. After trekking for 5 to 6 hours, passing almost 12.5 km, you will reach Machhapucchre Base Camp (3,712m) and will stay overnight.

Here comes the most awaited day of the adventurous journey, the trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m). Today you will be walking close to Annapurna Glacier throughout the trek, embracing the beauty of Annapurna snowcaps and leaving the beautiful view of Machhapuchhre behind. It is going to be a short trek today, providing you with plenty of time to enjoy the view sitting by the mountain.

Today you will wake up early to witness the world's most stunning view of sunrise from Annapurna mountain range. Then after, pack up your bags to begin your journey back to Kathmandu. Today you will carry on the trek down to bamboo. Contrary to the previous day, it is going to be a long trek today as you will climb down from 4,130m to 2,350m in a single day. After walking for around 6 to 7 hours, covering a distance of around 16 km, you will reach Bamboo, today's destination, and will stay overnight here.

Today, you will continue your trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda. While going down this trail you will witness Khimrong Khola and lush green forest of bamboo, rhododendron, and oak. After trekking for 5 to 6 hours, you will finally reach Jhinu Danda, a famous place for natural hot springs. You can take a rest overnight and prepare yourself for the next day's trek.
This is the last trek of this adventurous journey. Today, you will climb down to Nayapul (1,070m) from Jhinu Danda. After 5 to 6 hours of trek, you will reach Nayapul. Then you will catch our bus there and drive back to Pokhara. It will take around 1 hour 30 minutes to reach Pokhara. Stay overnight in Pokhara.
As you have completed the whole trek, the day is all yours now. You can roam around Pokhara on your own without rushing for the next destination. First, if you still want to enjoy the view of sunrise here in the early calm morning, Sarangkot is the best viewpoint in Pokhara. Besides, the must-visit places in Pokhara are Fewa Lake and markets on the lakeside, Tal-Barahi Temple, Shanti Stupa (Peace Pagoda), Gupteshwor Cave, Chamero Gufa (Bat Cave), and Begnas Lake. After exploring Pokhara the whole day, you can enjoy the nightlife here in the clubs and bars (including Trisara, Busy Bee, Irish Pub, and so on), chill out with friends, and enjoy the live music in the streets of Pokhara.
